Truth Bomb by OVD : Disney VS DeSantis

 Hey Everyone,

  So you may have heard of Florida's "Don't say Gay" bill that passed recently. It's another one of those bigoted bills that Republicans pass to harass Americans. This one directed at LGBTQ Americans and kids. It's horrible to say the least and should be struck down as a violation of the 1st Amendment. After this "law" was passed Disney came out against it, as expected. The Republican response was to attack Disney and take away their Deal that allows Disney to take care of their own government functions. The reason Disney made this deal is they wanted to create the Disney World experience. No pot holes, graffiti, run down building etc. If you've ever been to Disney world or land you notice this. Everything is clean and maintained. If you look at literally EVERY other American city/county this in NOT the case. 

  So what stripping this will do is make Florida responsible for that upkeep. Which they can't do. Not even close. So either way Disney will have move now or sue Florida to get those rights back. Since Florida is run by Republicans suing them might not work. So this is going to hurt Disney. Either they pay to leave and rebuild or they lose their Disney image and lose even more money. Where Disney World is located at is a bug infested swamp and very poor area. It will go back to swamp the minute Disney leaves with it's 80k+ jobs and all it's infrastructure investments.

  Disney should get some payback. If I was the CEO of Disney I would make a public announcement and explain the above and state clearly Florida is against businesses. Then I'd announce that Disney World is looking for a new home...free of bigotry and the unsound business practices(of the GOP) and watch them scramble to make offers(watching other Republican governors fight over who gets to screw Desantis up will be entertaining to say the least)...and make those offers publicly known so Floridians can see the damage their Governor has done just to be a public bigot. Then watch DeSantis's career end and Florida scramble to try and keep Disney World. They f*cked around and now they are going to find out.

  In the long run, this will be majorly damaging to Florida. Any business that was thinking of expanding or moving there isn't anymore. This shows Florida will scrap any deal they made with your business just to be public bigots. Not a good business model. No business will trust Florida for decades over this. If they will do that to a business that has a huge amount of employee's, pays for infrastructure and has been in the state for 80 years...then no company is safe there. This is also more evidence that Republican party has no policies other than open bigotry. How weak and pathetic.

 Hey Everyone,   So the war in Ukraine has been bloody but not much has happened the last month in regards to land controlled by either side. The HIMARS are doing serious damage to Russian command and supplies and they only have 4 of them. The Russians said they took them out but that has been proven to be a lie. The only reason Ukraine isn't dominating and taking their land back is the west isn't supplying enough. It's obvious the west IS considering this a Proxy war.  Hey Everyone,   So the front lines haven't moved much but the fighting is fierce along the whole line. It's still winter but spring is around the corner so both sides are gearing up for spring offenses. The newly promised Tanks from the west still haven't arrived and there isn't enough of them to make a difference. The Russians are losing thousands of Troops but their real purpose will be seen soon enough. You have to understand Russian war doctrine to see what the real Russian plan is. So lets talk about that. The Russians throughout history have used the same playbook. They invade or instigate a war thinking they will win fast. Then they lose badly as their forces are poorly trained and corruption ensures they are poorly equipped. Truth Bomb by OVD : Personal update

 Hey everyone,   If anyone is even still reading this...My feeling of isolation is getting bad. Really bad. Being cut off from Facebook was bad enough. I haven't heard from a lot of friends from real life for more than a year now. Twitter helped and I made some new friends and was able to connect to a bunch of fellow Veterans. That's gone now too. So now I kind of drift from day to day with little to no contact with the outside world. It's demoralizing to say the least. I'm down right depressed and don't see any future for myself anymore. I've always been a very social person and now I have no way to reach anyone but this and the numbers of people that even read this anymore has dwindled to a couple. Soon I'll probably stop bothering with this either.    My pain levels are through the roof. I got only an hour of sleep last night(and why I'm typing this at 5 am. Pain meds and pot cookies combined didn't help. My left leg is now starting to get as bad
