 Hey Everyone,   So Tony finally got all his stuff out. My neighbors, Jo, James and his wife and I all scrubbed the walls down and the floor. It was disgusting. We dealt with everything from oil, to paint to feces. I will have to repaint soon but at least it's not disgusting anymore. Tony was tweaked out of his mind and went to the bathroom to do drugs while he was moving the last of his stuff out. It was sad. But no longer my problem. Gilbert and the Cat are on the way over and a new chapter on the Ottostead begins. there is also more damage I have to deal with like molding that was damaged and replacing the closet door. But as things are cleaned and repaired at least now I know they will stay that way. I'm exhausted...the pain is so bad I'm seeing stars and rocking in my chair...the cookies weren't enough so I took a pain pill too but it might not be enough either.  Hey Everyone,   So last night Tony started moving his stuff out. All kinds of banging all night. Now he says he's fixing the room and the window and should be out this afternoon. I have the new guy Gilbert bring his stuff in this afternoon too. Plus two neighbors and Che standing by to help with cleaning and repairs if they aren't done. I could have literally packed up in 2 hours and fixed everything in another two hours( 4 total) but Tony is still banging around in there...over 16 hours straight...I'm hoping for the best but am ready for the worst. Tomorrow at this time my life will be much better. Even my neighbors are happy to see Tony go...apparently he's been treating the back parking lot like my apartment...trashing it and not picking it up...over flowing the garbage and the shear amount of garbage he generates where the major complaints.  Hey everyone,    I woke up to a text from Tony saying his housing fell through(if he even looked which I doubt, he's spent the last 3 months tweaking all night in his room and sleeping all day) and that I was going to make him homeless(which he was before he lived here) and that he wanted another month. I reply NO. He's known for months this was coming and I gave him an additional 30 day in writing stating that if he needed to stay another month he should talk to me and act like an adult. He didn't...he locked himself in his room and then tried to sabotage me finding a new room mate. I added I'm not responsible for his lack of being able to adult. And to be clear, his kids mother has custody so the child will be fine. An hour after I sent my reply I found the bathroom floor covered in piss.  Hey Everyone,   So Hurricane Ida is heading straight for NOLA and is expected get to CAT 4 before landfall. This storm was so fast people trying to flee are in un-moving traffic jams. It's also the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. The states Hospital system is also overwhelmed with Covid-19 Delta that there are no beds and no where to move all the patients. The Vaccinate rate in the state of  LA is less than 50% so they are going to be in big trouble as people have to go to mass shelters and covid spreads even faster.     If this storm is another Katrina we should expect New Orleans will have to be abandoned. Millions of people will be displaced and ...as stated above...all while Covid Delta wreaks havoc. Climate Change is here and it's a MFer.  Hey Everyone,    So it's close to the end of the month. I haven't eaten in 2 days as I'm out of food basically. I have one meal I'm saving  to get me through until Wednesday. I'm also out of smokes...making it even more miserable. On top of that my left knee and leg went out yesterday and the pain is off the charts.   The good news is I found a new room mate. The bad news is the old room mate hasn't moved or fixed a thing so the stress is back. I also found out what he used 4 rolls of paper towels on...not clean his room....his kids battery powered car.  Hey Everyone,   By now you've all probably heard that ISIS K (and ISSIS sub sect in Afghanistan) set off two bombs near the Kabul airport. It killed 12 US service members and a bunch of Afghani civilians. What does this mean and how will it change things?   Well first, even though the Taliban "control" the country, they are divided themselves by regional groups and leaders all wanting power.  Hey Everyone,   As you have heard I'm trying to get the old room mate out and find a new one in. The old room mate Tony is still hiding out in his room occasionally sneaking out at night. The room looks like a crack den...I showed it one person who literally fled after seeing it. He has about a week to get his shit out but I don't know what his moving plans are as he refuses to talk to me. So I'm probably not going to be able to rent it out in time as anyone seeing the state of his room won't be interested. On top of that he broke a window over a year ago and I told him where to get a new one(literally down the street) but he hasn't...even though he has his 3 year old stay with him on weekends(every weekend I worry the kid is going to climb out that window and fall to his death).  Hey Everyone,   So out of the 7 from Craigslist only one has panned out. She's coming to check the place out today. I have one more that's only looking for a few months.  Hey everyone,   So yesterday I went to SF for the first time in a long time. I saw a lot of old friends and had a good time overall. The cost pain wise was high but I did it. It took me 4 cookies and 2 pain pills and I was 100% spent by the end. The stories were great and of course I had a ton of them. Sam and I had been through many adventures together. One thing was for sure...everyone there loved Sam.    I made it home about 8pm...way longer than I thought I'd make it. I tried to watch a movie(Suicide squad) but the pain was too much so I went to bed and dreamed about Sam and Underfoot(my old cat that knew Sam also) all night.    Today I can hardly move. The big one is the Delta variant...which comes from India. Then there is the Lambda variant hitting Texas from Peru.  Hey everyone,   So I had a great day yesterday. My friend Mills from the Flaming Lotus Girls came over yesterday. We did some grocery shopping, got Philly Cheese steak hoagies and hung out at Lake Merit for a bit. It was painful as hell, but worth it.  Hey Everyone,   So here's my present situation. My current room mate is AWOL. I have no clue where he is or when he'll return. I have to pay rent for this month by the 5th. I also plan on giving him 30 days(I already posted this on his door) as he's destroying my house and stuff and is generally dirty and lacks any responsibility. But I'm giving him 30 days and if he can cleans up after himself for a month and fix all the things he's broken and can't find another place I maybe willing to do 2 months(I don't throw people on the street during a Pandemic).
