Truth Bomb by OVD : Ukraine update, Tactics, changes and new equipment

 Hey Everyone,

  So you may have noticed American news isn't covering Ukraine as much as the recent past. The major journalists are starting to leave Ukraine to go back to the states. This is a bad sign as these "news" outlets go by numbers and money in what the cover. A sign that America is starting to "not care" as much. On top of that FOX is still allowing their fascist rich boy, Tucker Carlson spout off Russian propaganda and sow disinformation. Because Ukraine is our ally and at war...this is nothing short of Treason. It would be one thing to "give Russia's point of view" but spreading known lies is not covered by the first amendment. It's covered by the treason clause. Tucker should be fired and arrested. Neither has happened.

    TACTICS

  The Russians have completely withdrawn from the Kiev area and abandoned their objectives in Northern Ukraine. They are moving their forces east and south to concentrate on the eastern "Donbass" region. They have already started probing attacks. A probe attack is done to reveal enemy positions. Or recon by fire. All these have been easily repelled. The area in the east is wide open farm land. So ambush attacks like around Kiev will be hard to pull off. So Manpats will be useless for the most part. This next faze of the war will look more like WWII. Big tank and artillery battles. The Russians still out number the Ukrainians but the Ukrainians are dug in very well. WWI well. So the most probable Russian strategy will be to break through north and south to try and encircle those dug in Ukrainian forces and starve them out. The difficulties of pulling this off is the cities in the way like Kharkiv and Mariupol. The Russian failed at taking Kharkiv after many assaults. Mariupol is also still holding out but the onslaught of Russian attacks is taking it's toll. The Ukrainians will try to counter attack these 2 Russian trusts with units freed up from the Defense of Kiev and the north. The have to be careful on how much they send as Russia could attack Kiev again from Belarus. 

  I believe the Ukrainians will kick their asses again. especially up north as Kharkiv will continue to hold and those Kiev units that arrive are all battle hardened and with high morale. The south won't go as well for the Ukrainians. especially if Mariupol falls. But all the southern Ukrainians units need to do is hold the Russians off long enough for their Northern Units to mop up the norther Russian attack...and then head east or south...cutting off the Russian supply lines and trapping that southern Russian force. I also do expect Putin to try a sneak attack on Kiev during this, from Belarus. But that will fail too as the new Russian green replacements won't stand a chance. 

  The key to Ukraine's success will be how fast and well the west supplies them. The Ukrainians have gear coming in from Slovakia and the UK. The Slovakian shipments are a hodge podge of old Soviet era stuff. T-72's, BMP 1's, trucks(worthless out dated crap) and a few soviet air defense systems(those will help but they need much more). The Brits have sent a few APC's(Armored Personnel Carriers)...worthless in this war(they were used in Afghanistan), but have also sent Harpoon Anti-ship missiles. These will be a game changer. The Russians are using ships to shell the costal cities like Mariupol...after a few ships are sunk, they will have to pull those assets back. This will also hamper Russian naval resupply of those southern forces. It still looks like the west is going to use this as a PROXY war though. The US is sending....more Manpats(Javelins). There is little to no chatter about sending real gear like M1 Abrams tanks or f-15/16's. If the west continues like this millions of Ukrainian civilians will die in the next few months but stocks in arms companies will skyrocket from war profiteering. This is were we can make a difference. Call this shit out. pressure your Reps and Senators(or equivalent for my European friends) to send real military aid, in bulk and fast. 

  My advice to Ukraine. Concentrate in the north and after it's secure enough...instead of redeploying these units down south, attack Russia, Belgorod and Kursk  are great targets. Cut off the rail lines and damage infrastructure. You don't need to take or even bomb the cities. Just blow up all the railroad tracks, pipelines and roads in the area. This will cut off all the Russian supply lines to their southern units and show the Russian people this is a WAR not a "Special operation". It will also impress the world. Even small commando units could do this freeing up the bulk of you military to support the south. This is how you get Russia to sue for peace.
