Otto Update...My B-Day and Dead friends day

 Hey Everyone,

  So the new roomie Ryan is in and working out great. My friend Brad put together a new computer for me so I'll be switching to that soon. I have some weed to smoke and cookies for pain relief. And I've got food. So it's not all bad news.

  My pain levels have also gotten worse though. My left leg started failing again so I'm worried I will be wheelchair bound very soon. Making getting around even harder. Not that I can get out much now. I'm always tired and scream out in pain a lot more these days. My tub got clogged by the new plumbing downstairs...but I got that fixed finally. 

  My Birthday is coming up (May 31st) but I have no plans...it's also memorial day(Dead friends day) so it's always a hard day for me. I rarely have a decent B-day anyways. In fact most of my birthdays have been horrible. So I'm dreading the Memorial day weekend. I'll probably end up alone and broke...something really bad will happen and all I'll think about is my dead friends from my days in the Corps. 

  I do have two good shows to recommend..."Lincoln Lawyer" and "Star Trek: strange new worlds". Both are fantastic.  Strange new worlds is like classic Star Trek with great characters and writing.

    It sounds like things are not going well for you health-wise. Pain is a horrible part of life. And taking pain medication is often looked upon as a vice. Glad the roommate is working out for you. That's one less worry for you.

      I use pot cookies to manage my pain. The VA wants to give me heroin pills that would have killed my liver by now...let alone make me a junkie.

    I can be prescribed MS Contin but pot is illegal. Doesn't make much sense to me but I guess the pharmaceutical companies have to make their money.

 Hey Everyone,   So the war in Ukraine has been bloody but not much has happened the last month in regards to land controlled by either side. The HIMARS are doing serious damage to Russian command and supplies and they only have 4 of them. The Russians said they took them out but that has been proven to be a lie.  Hey Everyone,   So I'm in a bad place and see no reason to continue. I live in constant agonizing pain. I go hungry every month. I worry about going homeless and looks like that what's about to happen. The VA isn't even taking claims right now and are two years behind on the current claims so my chances of getting out of this spiral of misery and poverty are nonexistent. I'm tired of feeling, and being a drain on my friends. Always needing help financially, physically and mentally. I'm tired of hearing about Veterans programs and organizations that help....only to have to jump through hoops...to find out they don't. They are all scams. There is no hope. It's the reason there are 22 veteran suicides a day. It's the reason the streets are full of homeless veterans. It's one of the reasons for addiction problems with veterans. Reality is they want us dead...because it's cheaper. Both parties. And the way this crap system is set up is to deliver tha...

Truth Bomb by OVD : Personal update

 Hey everyone,   If anyone is even still reading this...My feeling of isolation is getting bad. Really bad. Being cut off from Facebook was bad enough. I haven't heard from a lot of friends from real life for more than a year now. Twitter helped and I made some new friends and was able to connect to a bunch of fellow Veterans. That's gone now too. So now I kind of drift from day to day with little to no contact with the outside world. It's demoralizing to say the least. I'm down right depressed and don't see any future for myself anymore. I've always been a very social person and now I have no way to reach anyone but this and the numbers of people that even read this anymore has dwindled to a couple. Soon I'll probably stop bothering with this either.    My pain levels are through the roof. I got only an hour of sleep last night(and why I'm typing this at 5 am.
