Truth Bomb by OVD : The Philippines goes bad again

 Hey Everyone,

  So I've spent time in the Philippines including in 1985-86 during the Marcos ousting. Marcos was a ruthless dictator and murdered his own people daily. He robbed the nation of it's wealth to fuel his luxury filled life. I remember just how happy everyone was when we switched sides and the Philippines became a democracy again. There was death everywhere when Marcos ruled. Now it was a happy place full of wonderful people. 

  Well all that changed yesterday as the Philippines elected Marcos's son. Just like the Republican's here in the states he ran on bringing back "The good old days"...and people forgot the "good old days" were death and misery(just like the States). 

  So now I would NOT recommend  going there. It will turn into more of a police state...with murder on the streets...in no time. Also expect Marcos Jr to flirt with China to extract more money an power. that's what the Marcos's do. This is a sad day for that part of the world for sure. If you have friends or relatives there...get them out now while you can. This is not a drill or exaggeration. I've seen it with my own eyes. GTFO.

    I saw a news story a couple of days ago about this. I wondered why people would vote for another Marcos until I saw that a lot of the people voting were not alive when Ferdinand was in power. And people seem nostalgic for "the good old days". Sound familiar. That and not learning from history.

      There are two kinds of people. Those who don't study history and are doomed to repeat it. And those that do that are doomed to watch them repeat it.

 Hey Everyone,   So the war in Ukraine has been bloody but not much has happened the last month in regards to land controlled by either side. The HIMARS are doing serious damage to Russian command and supplies and they only have 4 of them. The Russians said they took them out but that has been proven to be a lie. The only reason Ukraine isn't dominating and taking their land back is the west isn't supplying enough. It's obvious the west IS considering this a Proxy war. That means their goal is to bleed Russia by keeping the war going. This is why the Ukrainians are not getting enough support. I warned of this but now it's clear that it is the case now.    There is talk of giving them 30 HIMARS and F-15's, F-16's, F-18's(Hornets are used by the USMC like the A-10's) and A-10's.  Hey Everyone,   So the front lines haven't moved much but the fighting is fierce along the whole line. It's still winter but spring is around the corner so both sides are gearing up for spring offenses. The newly promised Tanks from the west still haven't arrived and there isn't enough of them to make a difference. The Russians are losing thousands of Troops but their real purpose will be seen soon enough. You have to understand Russian war doctrine to see what the real Russian plan is. So lets talk about that. The Russians throughout history have used the same playbook. They invade or instigate a war thinking they will win fast. Then they lose badly as their forces are poorly trained and corruption ensures they are poorly equipped.  Hey everyone,   If anyone is even still reading this...My feeling of isolation is getting bad. Really bad. Being cut off from Facebook was bad enough. I haven't heard from a lot of friends from real life for more than a year now. Twitter helped and I made some new friends and was able to connect to a bunch of fellow Veterans. That's gone now too. So now I kind of drift from day to day with little to no contact with the outside world. It's demoralizing to say the least. I'm down right depressed and don't see any future for myself anymore. I've always been a very social person and now I have no way to reach anyone but this and the numbers of people that even read this anymore has dwindled to a couple. Soon I'll probably stop bothering with this either.    My pain levels are through the roof. I got only an hour of sleep last night(and why I'm typing this at 5 am. Pain meds and pot cookies combined didn't help. My left leg is now starting to get as bad
