Truth Bomb by OVD : Modern Politics and Star power

 Hey Everyone, 

 So there is a trend happening in America I have to speak up about. After 4 years of Trumpty Dumpty and looking at Hershel possibly winning a Senate seat...both of which are stupid people with no Political skill that lie so often it's hard to know when they do tell the truth...yet they do well in politics because of their star power. Even Arnold as Gov of CA is another example. The sad reality of modern American politics is a Star can win...just for being famous. It seems only the Nazi party(formally known as the Republican party) is the only party that see's this. 

  If the center or "left" in America want to win elections and actually pass good legislation then they better start recruiting stars. lots of them. It maybe sad...and cringeworthy but it's still reality. I'm talking actual candidates not endorsements. Even in a Red state a Movie star running for the Democratic party could win. That's the reality. Again look at Hershel  Walker...a college football star that has no political experience. No experience running...well anything but a football. Dumb as a rock and to top it off makes outrageous lies constantly...and he's up in the polls. How...star power. 

  Another sad side effect of this is, shitty politicians doing or saying outrageous things to get noticed and become political stars like Boebert or Green. And the sadder part is it works too.

  I will end this with a hypothetical...What if the DNC got Stephen Curry(star Warriors Basketball player) to run for Governor of Florida(he just bought a house there for his family). Desantis seems like a Juggernaut in Florida politics but I can see Curry wiping the floor with him politically. There are plenty of famous folks out there that support good things...recruit them...get them to run. Even if they are dumb they can win and you can get stuff done in the right direction.

    Once again, agrees. Hershel is so stupid I don't know how he doesn't forget to breathe. And Republicans seem to be vying with each other to see who can make the most outlandish and polarizing statement just to get attention. And it works for them. In the meantime, they do absolutely nothing about the so-called problems, or any real problems, by doing their jobs.

 Hey Everyone,   So the war in Ukraine has been bloody but not much has happened the last month in regards to land controlled by either side. The HIMARS are doing serious damage to Russian command and supplies and they only have 4 of them. The Russians said they took them out but that has been proven to be a lie. The only reason Ukraine isn't dominating and taking their land back is the west isn't supplying enough. It's obvious the west IS considering this a Proxy war. That means their goal is to bleed Russia by keeping the war going. This is why the Ukrainians are not getting enough support. I warned of this but now it's clear that it is the case now.    There is talk of giving them 30 HIMARS and F-15's, F-16's, F-18's(Hornets are used by the USMC like the A-10's) and A-10's.  Hey Everyone,   So the front lines haven't moved much but the fighting is fierce along the whole line. It's still winter but spring is around the corner so both sides are gearing up for spring offenses. The newly promised Tanks from the west still haven't arrived and there isn't enough of them to make a difference. The Russians are losing thousands of Troops but their real purpose will be seen soon enough. You have to understand Russian war doctrine to see what the real Russian plan is. So lets talk about that. The Russians throughout history have used the same playbook. They invade or instigate a war thinking they will win fast. Then they lose badly as their forces are poorly trained and corruption ensures they are poorly equipped. Truth Bomb by OVD : Personal update

 Hey everyone,   If anyone is even still reading this...My feeling of isolation is getting bad. Really bad. Being cut off from Facebook was bad enough. I haven't heard from a lot of friends from real life for more than a year now. Twitter helped and I made some new friends and was able to connect to a bunch of fellow Veterans. That's gone now too. So now I kind of drift from day to day with little to no contact with the outside world. It's demoralizing to say the least. I'm down right depressed and don't see any future for myself anymore. I've always been a very social person and now I have no way to reach anyone but this and the numbers of people that even read this anymore has dwindled to a couple. Soon I'll probably stop bothering with this either.    My pain levels are through the roof. I got only an hour of sleep last night(and why I'm typing this at 5 am. Pain meds and pot cookies combined didn't help. My left leg is now starting to get as bad
